Cebu launches unified 911 emergency hotline for faster response

CEBU CITY—Cebu now has a Unified 911 Emergency Hotline System, a new initiative designed to ensure faster response times during emergencies across Central Visayas.

Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla formally opened the Visayas’ first 911 Regional Command Center on Saturday, Oct. 25, marking the start of the system’s operations.
